CoQ10 lowers bad cholesterol
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a powerful antioxidant that is naturally present in most cells. CoQ10 helps the body produce energy.

In one study, 53 healthy, normal-weight men, aged 21 to 48, took 150 mg of ubiquinol (a reduced form of CoQ10) per day. After two weeks, LDL cholesterol (the “bad” cholesterol) had declined 12.7 percent. Researchers said that small, dense particles of LDL—those most likely to form unhealthy deposits on blood vessel walls—declined the most.
