On average, over the various study periods, long-term blood sugar marker (HbA1C) levels dropped 0.1 percent, and fasting blood sugar levels dropped 0.84 micromoles per liter of blood. HbA1C, glycated hemoglobin, is a lab test that shows the average amount of sugar in blood over 3 months.
Doctors think that cinnamon may help diabetics control blood sugar and urge more study.
