Vitamin D may help protect against colon cancer
Researchers in one review analyzed 35 studies that measured vitamin D levels and the chances for cancer.

For every 10 nanograms per milliliter increase in blood levels of vitamin D, chances for colorectal cancer decreased by 15 percent.

Researchers suggest new studies to see if raising the level of vitamin D will lower chances for colorectal cancer further.
