Caffeine and Alzheimer's
Those with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) have a buildup of abnormal, fibrous proteins—called amyloid with nerve signals in the brain. Caffeine has anti-inflammatory properties that may play a role in reducing amyloid plaque buildup, and researchers suggest more study.
