One of my favorite products and something that is essential in my recovery is whey protein. Not only is it one of the best proteins for repairing and building muscle, it’s also versatile.
Whey protein is fantastic as a base ingredient when making a shake. Adding a tablespoon of flaxseed oil provides valuable omega-3s for heart, skin, joint and muscle health.
If you’re building muscle and lifting weights, then add creatine to it.
After workouts, add carbs to your whey shake to replenish glycogen stores.
Also popular is adding a greens powder, lecithin and fiber such as psyllium.
