Every Lindberg herb is scrutinized with numerous scientific
tests to ensure they live up to our high standards, including:

Cold Milling Prevents Herbs From Getting "Cooked"
After herbs have passed our rigorous testing, they are milled (ground-up) in preparation for encapsulating. We use a high-tech mill equipped with a CO2 cooling system that prevents the heat from the friction of the milling process from "cooking" the herb, which could damage its potency. The result: we preserve the active components of the herb in order to provide you with the most effective products available.
Why Take A Standardized Extract?
Simply put — they're the best! The "active" or "marker" constituents of an herb are identified and concentrated to a standardized, measurable amount. This provides consistent dosing and removes the variation due to soil, climate and seasons, which makes the action of the herb more predictable. The dose and standardization levels recommended on most labels are the same as those shown to be most effective in clinical studies.
