Acidophilus and bifidus are probiotics naturally found in a healthy intestinal tract. They provide beneficial bacteria needed for restoring and balancing intestinal flora in both the upper and lower gastrointestinal tracts.

Our Dual Action Acidophilus & Bifidus capsules have a unique matrix that forms a gel at the surface, protecting the probiotic bacteria until they reach the small intestine where they are released in their full, biologically active state.

Contains 1 billion viable bacterial cells at time of manufacture and guaranteed to contain at least 500 million viable bacterial cells at the expiration date.

Provides equal amounts of two types of probiotics, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium lactis, providing benefits to both the upper and lower GI tract.

Formulated with two well-researched strains of bacteria: LA-5 and BB-12.

Manufacturing Process
Unique matrix prevents bacteria from being destroyed in the highly acidic environment of the stomach by forming a protective gel at the surface. When probiotic capsule reaches the small intestine the increased alkalinity causes the gel to dissolve and bacteria to become rehydrated and released in its full biologically active state.

Advanced technology provides enhanced stability at room temperature (68-77 degrees F), allowing a full two year expiration date with no refrigeration required!
