Preparation, uses and tips
Although white bread is very popular, it should be used sparingly. Whole-grain bread is a better choice since it provides more nutrients and fiber.
Buying and storing tips
Buy white bread in the bakery or bread section of most health food stores and supermarkets. Store in a breadbox or plastic bag at room temperature, and use within a few days.
Varieties
White bread is available in rolls and loaves of various shapes and sizes.
