Dong Quai
Dong quai (Angelica sinensis) is known in China as a "woman's herb," where it has been used for more than 2,000 years. Its reputation is perhaps second only to that of ginseng in the Orient. In fact, dong quai is often referred to as the "female ginseng" because it is used to relieve the discomforts of menopause and PMS.
