Shake Additions

Lecithin, L-glutamine and flaxseed oil all should be added to your protein shake to elevate its nutritional quality.

Lecithin is essential for optimal cardiovascular health. Recent research has also shown it can help with mild memory problems associated with aging. Add 1-2 tablespoons to your shake.

L-glutamine is a free-form amino acid (protein). It helps support immunity, growth hormone, your muscles and aids in recovery from stressful exercise. Add about 4 grams of L-glutamine to your shake.

Flaxseed oil is a rich vegetarian source of an essential fatty acid called omega-3. Omega-3s affect joint health, cardiovascular health, allergies, immunity, hormone balance, intelligence, behavior, athletic performance, your nervous system and over 1,000 other biological actions. Add 1 tablespoon into a shake. A 16 fluid ounce serving contains 31 servings. You need to refrigerate flaxseed oil after opening.
