Enteric Coated for Optimal Absorption
Specially-Coated Bromelain is enteric coated to protect the bromelain from becoming active in the stomach and act as a digestive enzyme for food. The German Commission E monograph suggests 200-800 FIP units taken 2-3 times daily. A 500mg tablet of Specially-Coated Bromelain has 2600 FIP units (or 1200 GDU) to ensure full enzymatic activity.
