Calcium Citrate
Calcium citrate can be taken on an empty stomach
Calcium citrate is one of the two main forms of calcium (the other is calcium carbonate). Those with reduced levels of stomach acid can absorb calcium citrate more easily than other forms of calcium. It can be taken with or without food. Because calcium citrate has a lower percentage of elemental calcium (21% vs. 40% for calcium carbonate), more pills need to be taken to reach the desired dosage.
Support bone strength and density with calcium, minerals and vitamin D3*

by Lindberg
Bone Support provides a full spectrum of bone density supporting minerals and co-factors. Highly bioavailable vitamin D3 (1,000 IU) is added to enhance calcium utilization in the body. Just four capsules provide 1,000 mg of calcium from a fast-absorbing tri-calcium matrix, which includes 600 mg of calcium citrate and 250 mg of calcium aspartate. The calcium is then balanced in an optimal 2:1 ratio with a tri-magnesium matrix. Boron is included since research shows boron helps you utilize calcium better.*

by Lindberg
Calcium Citrate plus Magnesium provides an easily absorbed, citrate form of calcium to build and maintain healthy bones and teeth. In human studies, calcium absorption from calcium citrate was significantly higher (22% to 27%) than the carbonate form of calcium. Easy-to-swallow capsules ensure rapid delivery of calcium to the body.* Magnesium is added to create a balanced calcium to magnesium ratio.
