Futruebiotics Saffton Extract is an all-natural extract, derived from the red stigmas of Saffron (Crocus sativus) flowers. A well known and expensive spice used for centuries, it is also referred to as saffron crocus. Saffron flowers each have three showy red stigmas, which when harvested and dried have traditionally been used as a flavoring agent, a colorant, and in herbal medicine and healing.
Saffron contains a variety of naturally-occurring plant constituents, including safranal, picrocrocin and crocin, which research has shown may be responsible for the benefits of Saffron.
A 100% vegetarian supplement, Futurebiotics Saffron Extract contains 90mg of pure Saffron extract per capsule, standardized to a minimum of 0.3% safranal, and provides crocin and picrocrocin. Product does not contain caffeine or other stimulants.
