Nitric oxide is produced in the body from the amino acid arginine. Arginine is present in the diet (especially protein-containing food) and is produced by the body. A number of other compounds (so-called "co-factors") are required to convert arginine into NO. These are included in NITRIX.
Among other roles, NO is involved in the opening, or dilation, of blood vessels (i.e. vasodilation). Vasodilation permits more blood to flow into tissues such as skeletal muscle. Blood-filled muscles may appear larger, fuller and more vascular. Enhancing blood flow also supports better delivery of oxygen, nutrients and anabolic (growth-supporting) substances, and removal of fatigue-associated metabolic by-products.

Methocel: Methocel is a micro-polymer hydrophilic ether matrix.
L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AKG): Arginine is a conditionally essential amino acid and a precursor to nitric oxide (NO). Science suggests that chemically bonding AKG to arginine may enhance its conversion into NO, thereby increasing blood NO levels. NO stimulates vasodilation (i.e. opening of blood vessels) and may be involved in the muscle growth (hypertrophic) response to exercise.
Di-Calcium Phosphate, Di-Potassium Phosphate, Di-Sodium Phosphate: Phosphates are used to enhance muscle phosphocreatine levels, strength and endurance. Calcium, sodium and potassium are all involved in the regulation of muscle force generation.
L-Citrulline: Citrulline is an amino acid that may be converted into arginine. It is considered the body's "preferred" precursor to arginine for NO generation.
NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide): NAD is added to NITRIX to support the function of nitric oxide synthase (NOS), the family of enzymes responsible for converting arginine into NO.
Folic Acid: Folic acid (aka vitamin B-11) is added to NITRIX to support the function of NOS Dietary supplementation with folic acid may also help maintain homocysteine levels already in the normal range. Adequate homocysteine promotes a healthy cardiovascular system.

Directions For Use
Recommended use for persons under 200 pounds: As a dietary supplement take 3 tablets 3 times per day every day. Always take Nitrix on an empty stomach (i.e. approximately 30-45 minutes before meals or 2 hours after a meal).
Taking Nitrix with food or on a full stomach may diminish its effects.
Take the first 3 tablets in the morning upon arising, the second 3 tablets before lunch, and the final 3 tablets before dinner.
Recommended use for persons over 200 pounds: Follow the same guidelines as above, but take 4 tablets 3 times per day, every day, on an empty stomach.
Miscellaneous
Note: Do not take glutamine supplements and Nitrix at the same time as doing so may diminish its effects. Keep intake of glutamine supplements to 10g or less of glutamine daily. To maximize the vaso-muscular volumizing effects take Nitrix 3 times per day, every day. Also consume 120 oz. of water per day and a diet that is rich in protein and carbohydrates. Your body chemistry and weight will determine how long it takes to experience the effects of Nitrix. Many users may notice the effects within the first 7-14 days of recommended use. Each week thereafter, the effects will become more pronounced. Other users may notice the initial effects after 14-21 days of use. Again, the effects will become more pronounced each week thereafter. Nitrix begins to induce its maximum vaso-muscular volumizing effects in weeks 3-12. After 3-12 weeks of use, discontinue for at least 4 weeks.

Before consuming Nitrix seek advice from a health care practitioner if you are unaware of your current health condition or have any pre-existing medical condition including but not limited to hypotension, hypertension, heart, liver, or thyroid disease, diabetes, psychiatric disease, asthma, pernicious anemia, anxiety, depression, seizure disorder, cardiac arrhythmia, stress, difficulty urinating due to prostate enlargement, or if you are taking an MAO inhibitor or any other prescription drug. Do not use if you are pregnant, nursing, prone to dehydration or exposed to excessive heat. Reduce or discontinue use if excessive sleeplessness, tremors, dizziness, nervousness, headaches, or heart palpitations occur. Combining Nitrix with alcohol may increase the risk of low blood pressure (hypotension) and/or low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) particularly in the fasted state.
Please be aware this product contains the naturally occurring amino acid Beta-Alanine, which may cause a tingling skin sensation in some individuals similar to niacin flush. This effect should diminish after a few hours and should ultimately subside after days of continuous use. Although rare, individuals with the genetic disorder hyper Beta-Alaninemia should not use this product.
Nitrix is only intended to be consumed by healthy adults 18-50 years of age.
