Green coffee bean extract may aid weight loss
by Newsletter Editor
Researchers analyzed data from six green coffee bean studies, covering several hundred people and ranging from four to 22 weeks. The doses in the studies were 46 to 1,050 mg of green coffee bean extract per day, or a placebo, and included both normal-weight people with high blood pressure and overweight people.
Combining all results, and compared to placebo, those who took green coffee bean extract lost significantly more weight. While there were no weight-loss benefits for normal-weight people with high blood pressure, those who were overweight or obese saw significant weight-loss benefits.
