I grew up in Europe where I completed a medical degree and moved to the U.S. 10 years ago. Because of my busy schedule, I very quickly became accustomed to the “standard American diet” consisting mainly of junk food.
About a year ago I was diagnosed with a serious digestive illness, and I lost about 20 pounds. One day I visited the Lindberg Nutrition store in Torrance, CA, to buy protein powder. That day changed my life entirely.
I attended Judy Lindberg McFarland’s free nutrition class and realized how uneducated I was about good nutrition.
