Body-For-Life Grand Champion Visits Lindberg Nutrition

Porter Freeman
Body-For-Life Grand Champion

Porter Freeman at Lindberg NutritionIn 1997 Porter Freeman was co-champion of EAS' Body-For-Life Challenge and transformed his life forever. He's now their program director, and he recently spent time at our Lindberg Nutrition store providing tips and advice.

Nutrition Express: Why did you take on the Challenge?

Porter Freeman: I read in Bill Philips' [author and owner of EAS] book that he said he was going to give away stuff to people who took the challenge. A friend said he didn't think I could do it. So I set down my beer and said, "I'm taking that challenge!" Basically, I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Porter before and after taking the Body-For-Life Challenge N.E.: What were your results from the program?

Porter: I started the program in 1997 as basically an out-of-shape night club supervisor. After 12 weeks, I lost 54 pounds of fat, and my waist went from a size 42 to a 34. I've kept the weight off ever since. While touring as a grand champion, EAS asked me if I wanted to join their Body-for-Life team. The rest is history.

N.E.: Which products do you take regularly?

Porter: I use EAS' Betagen (Creatine & HMB) and Myoplex Meal Replacement Powder. Plus I take Phosphagen (creatine) after training. And I eat very healthy, too.
