Cold Milling Prevents Herbs From Getting "Cooked"
After herbs have passed our rigorous testing, they are milled (ground-up) in preparation for encapsulating. We use a high-tech mill equipped with a CO2 cooling system that prevents the heat from the friction of the milling process from "cooking" the herb, which could damage its potency. The result: we preserve the active components of the herb in order to provide you with the most effective products available.
Why Take A Standardized Extract?
Simply put -- they're the best! The "active" or "marker" constituents of an herb are identified and concentrated to a standardized, measurable amount. This provides consistent dosing and removes the variation due to soil, climate and seasons, which makes the action of the herb more predictable.
