Glucosamine for lubrication

Glucosamine for lubrication

Just like the Tin Man needed oil for his rusty joints, we need glucosamine to combat the daily pounding our joints take. Glucosamine is key in the making of cartilage, collagen, tendons, ligaments and joint fluid.* It fuels the repair and upkeep of our joints. In a recent 3-year study, 212 patients with knee problems were given a placebo or 1,500 mg a day of glucosamine sulfate. The glucosamine group showed amazing results, while the placebo group showed further joint degeneration. The good news is, you don't need a wizard or a doctor's prescription to buy it.

Chondroitin for cartilage

Chondroitin sulfate is the 'Jack-of-all-trades' when it comes to cartilage. People with joint problems typically have lower levels of this nutrient. Studies assessing joint pain show that chondroitin sulfate may be beneficial.* In one study, a total of 372 patients with hip or knee problems took chondroitin sulfate for at least three months. Patients taking the supplement reported better pain management and consumed fewer non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or analgesics, compared to those taking a placebo.

MSM for strong sulfur bonds

Methyl sulfonyl methane (MSM) is an organic sulfur that's essential to strong cartilage and other joint tissue. It is required to maintain the structure of proteins, collagen and keratin in the body -- the building block of nails, skin, hair, joints and other connective tissues.* In one study, injured athletes taking MSM in addition to their usual physical therapy reported improved recovery (58%) versus a placebo group (33%). In another study, patients with degenerative joint problems took 750 mg of MSM a day. They showed an 80% improvement after six weeks, compared a placebo.

Microlactin for pain and stiffness

MicroLactin for pain & stiffness

MicroLactin is a special, patented component from milk protein with over 32 clinical trials performed to date. It has been shown to significantly improve WOMAC osteoarthritis index scores in all areas including joint pain, stiffness and activities of daily living. Its possible mode of action is to reduce the movement of neutrophils (white blood cells) to sites of inflammation (i.e. sore joints). As a result, the cycle of inflammation and pain can be broken. One study showed it to be 60% more effective than glucosamine when assessing pain, stiffness and activity scores. An effective dose is 2 grams per day.

Vitamin C for the glue in your joints

Vitamin C, along with MSM, is critical to normal collagen production and healthy connective tissue.*

Collagen for the framework

Collagen is a protein that is important to the structure of connective tissues in cartilage, tendons, ligaments, bones and muscles.* You need sufficient amounts to rebuild and maintain joint health.

Ginger for inflammation

Recent studies have shown it may act as a reasonable alternative to the popular anti-inflammatory drug, ibuprofen.

All formulas are ideal for wrists, hands, neck, back, hips, ankles and feet.* Try one today and feel better in as little as 6 weeks!
