In a recent study, 53 healthy males with an average age of 30 were randomly supplemented with 150 mg of Ubiquinol daily for two weeks. The CoQ10 plasma levels increased 4.8 fold after Ubiquinol supplementation, and the LDL “bad cholesterol” levels were reduced 12.7 percent.
The researchers concluded that Ubiquinol induces characteristic gene expression, which translates into reduced LDL cholesterol levels in humans.
