Curcumin reduced seizure, improved memory

The chronic nature of seizures or epilepsy is linked to depression and cognitive impairment. In the lab, mice with epilepsy got a standard anti-seizure drug or 50-200 mg of curcumin per kilogram of body weight.
After 15 days, the anti-seizure drug reduced seizures and improved depressive symptoms, but not memory. Curcumin reduced seizures and improved depressive symptoms and memory.
