Our History Goes Back 60 Years
Our business has its roots dating back over 60 years when Gladys Lindberg opened her first Lindberg Nutrition retail store in Los Angeles in 1949.

Creating Nutrition Express
Almost immediately our store customers wanted the convenience of ordering Lindberg brand products by mail. In the early 80's, our mail order division grew so rapidly that we no longer had the room to ship products from our retail chain. So, in 1983, we made the mail order division a separate corporation and named it Nutrition Express. We now ship products from over 200 of the top nutrition companies.

Our World Headquarters
Our state-of-the-art warehouse, call center and corporate offices in Torrance, California, allow us to stock and ship over 5,000 items. We are not a drop-ship company, but a full-fledged mail order company that will be here when you need us.

Our Mission
Our mission is to help you enjoy optimum health through proper nutrition! Good health is all about looking your best and having the energy and stamina to do the things you love. It's difficult to be productive and happy if you're sick or run down all the time. We believe strongly that certain supplements should be at the core of your health program.

Some people say to us they can't afford supplements. We say, "you can't afford not to take them." The old saying, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" rings more true today than ever with the soaring cost of health care. We want you to live to a ripe old age without suffering through debilitating diseases.

Our Commitment
We are committed to providing only high quality products! If products are tested that don't meet label claim, we won't carry them. Many brands will never be sold on our website due to concerns we have with their quality control or business practices. In fact, one product, heavily promoted on an infomercial, just paid millions of dollars in fines for unsubstantiated claims. Of course, it was one of the products we refused to sell.

Our Philosophy
Our business philosophy is to never let you pay full retail again for nutritional products. Why pay full retail at a local store when you can buy from us at up to 70% off the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (Retail). You don't need to wait for short term sales or "Super Tuesday" to make your supplement purchases. After all, who has that kind of time any more? We give you the best deal every day of the week. Our buyers work directly with most manufacturers and take advantage of various promotions to obtain the best prices possible. Then, we pass the savings on to you!

History of the Lindberg Brand
Lindberg brand products began over 60 years ago in 1949 when Gladys Lindberg began teaching people to take vitamins, eat unprocessed foods and stay away from chemical additives. Her own children were always sick. Getting back to eating natural foods the way her parents ate on the farm turned them into healthy, rosy-cheeked kids!

News of her success spread and soon the whole neighborhood wanted to know her secret. In fact, so many people visited her home all hours of the day and night that her Swedish husband, Walter Lindberg, decided they needed some peace and quiet at home. Utilizing her husband's business acumen, she finally opened a retail store to accommodate everyone. Up to age 84, she worked daily providing nutritional guidance in her traditional pink outfits she was so well known for.

Now, her daughter Judy Lindberg McFarland, author, nutritionist, lecturer and television personality has picked up the torch and is spreading the message of good health!
